Hello, I am Naveen Rana.

Naveen Rana hails from Joshimath, a historic town in northern India known for its proximity to the revered Badrinath Temple and the Valley of Flowers.

Joshimath also holds great spiritual significance, as it was visited by the 9th-century sage Adi Shankaracharya. Although Naveen grew up and studied in Dehradun, visits to Joshimath were infrequent until the environmental impact of rampant construction inspired a return to this tranquil land.

With significant land holdings there, Naveen now enjoys a peaceful lifestyle ideal for dedicated astrological research.

Naveen began his journey into astrology in 2011 when Saturn, in transit, entered his eighth house alongside Rahu. As a Pisces ascendant, Naveen felt a natural pull toward occult sciences, and this transit intensified that inclination.

His family’s heritage also fostered a unique understanding of astrology, with a grandfather skilled in mantras and maternal ancestors serving prominent roles in Lord Kedarnath Temple.

Before fully dedicating himself to astrology, Naveen worked as a Navigator (Deck Officer) in the Merchant Navy, where studies in BSc Nautical Science included astronomy, which laid a strong foundation for understanding astrological principles.

Leaving the high-paying shipping industry surprised many, but Naveen felt a clear calling.

The exposure to 22 countries and diverse cultures also enriched his astrological perspective.

In December 2015, Naveen launched "thevedichoroscope.com" after noticing a gap in accessible and detailed astrology resources.

Through careful research and commitment to high-quality content, the site has gained significant recognition, praised for its clarity and depth. Technical skills in content marketing were honed by following experts like Neil Patel, Brian Dean, and Rand Fishkin, ensuring top search engine results without compromising quality.

Naveen’s approach to astrology is rooted in simplicity, primarily using Parashari astrology techniques, divisional charts, and Vimshottari Dasha, along with insights from Jaimini, Ashtakvarga, Yogini, and Nadi Jyotish.
